Inspired by the stones, the vertical striations of this particular focal provides a nice backdrop to the three diamond-oriented steampunk focals. Hits of Garnet play against the soft olive tones of the Moss Jasper color way. Make it rounded or pointed, your preference. Five simple fringe, narrow color palette, fine patterning, and an Art Deco clasp make for an elegant, understated neutral that can be worn at work or an evening out. Since no two stones are alike, the focals were artfully recreated in Polymer clay by Joanne St. James. Students will pick their cabochon set.
 
Techniques: peyote bezel, backstitching straight lines, brickstitch edging, fringe, internal construction, forming.
